Leslie Blount 

  • Leslie Blount is a graduate of the University of Oregon with a degree in Education.  She taught physical education in Portland for 6 years and has coached running and track for over 20 years, working with elementary, middle school and high school athletes.  
  •  In 2000 Leslie created the West T.V. Running Club.  She ran this popular elementary school program for 12 years.  In 2010 she took the job of coach/ coordinator of the West Sylvan Middle School Track and XC program and has helped run this team for the past 10 years. For three years, Leslie was a member of the Lincoln High School XC team coaching staff.
  • “My mission is to encourage people of all ages and abilities to get out and move.

Andrew Koziatek 

Andrew Koziatek, Camp Director

Former D1 athlete in cross country and track at UMKC
All-State cross country in high school, qualified for State in track
Completed undergrad in Studio Art at UMKC and masters degree in Athletic and Activities Administration at William Woods University
Currently a high school assistant coach (Marquette) in cross country and track, working primarily with pole vaulters (have coached in roughly all events to various degrees except for throws). 

11 years total worth of coaching at the high school level as of summer 2022. (coached at Windsor of Imperial HS as well as Lindbergh HS)
Coached NAIA cross country and track for 2 years at William Woods University.
Currently head coach of the Fleet Feet Rock Runners program which is geared towards training on the area's local trails for distances of 5K up to 50K.
Competed in 12 marathons (half of them placing top 6 finish with 2 of them as overall winner), as well as numerous other races from 5K up to half marathons.
Avid road/trail runner, loves sharing my passion for coaching and running with others.
Love to take my kids in the double stroller or on bike rides in spare time.
Fun fact: I competed on the varsity bowling team while in high school
